

For the time being though I am quite pleased with the results. After all HDMI isn't worth a hill of beans on a rack mounted mini while the Thunderbolt port is quite useful. NewerTech would be wise to put out a HDMI version as can be found on the interweb.

I'm eyeing a Thunderbolt to USB 3.0/eSATA adapter that has no pass through, so if I were to get one of those to cure the lack of 3.0 and add eSATA on this box, I could no longer use the accelerator. That said, it is a downer with the 2011 box since it uses the Thunderbolt port. Getting a pair of these sure fixed that problem up.

I access them via ARD and I was always wondering why the old G4 Xserves they replaced had better video over remote desktop than they did.
